What a banging tune this is and it's got all sorts of nasty jazz harmony in it that sounds great on clean guitar. Apparently Jay Graydon and Lukather played on the original recording and that's a great combo if ever there was one.

Awesome cover, man! For the main riff, I usually also cover the low E string as well while playing the power chords. It gives me a heavier sound that kind of replicates the keyboards that complement the guitars during that riff. Admittedly, it can end up stressing your thumb a bit more.
